Tradingale Metrics
Tradingale Metrics are statistical evaluation tools designed to assess how specific market conditions and instruments align with the predefined Tradingale Martingale sequence. They analyze historical and real-time data—such as price volatility, retracement frequency, liquidity depth, and general sentiment metrics—to support users in applying sequences consistently and with clear structure.
🔹 Martingale-Friendly Score
The Martingale-Friendly Score measures how well a cryptocurrency pair historically aligns with the Tradingale sequence model. The score, ranging from 1 to 5 stars, is calculated through:
- Price Behavior – historical volatility and retracement frequency
- Market Activity – including on-chain metrics and general sentiment statistics
- Liquidity Depth – to assess order fill efficiency and slippage sensitivity on supported exchanges
A higher score (typically 4 stars or above) reflects a stronger statistical compatibility with the sequence model, based on observed patterns. It does not imply future performance, profitability, or a recommendation to trade.
📈 Note: The Martingale-Friendly Score represents statistical alignment only. It does not forecast market direction or guarantee results.
🔹 Startingale
The Startingale evaluates how current market data aligns with the statistical assumptions used in the Tradingale Martingale framework. It categorizes conditions using one of four labels:
- Strong (Green) – conditions closely reflect the model's preferred parameters
- Favorable (Blue) – conditions align well with the model assumptions
- Moderate (Orange) – conditions meet only minimal statistical alignment
- Misaligned (Red) – conditions currently fall outside modeled assumptions
These designations are purely descriptive of data alignment and do not reflect predictive or directional analysis.
⏱️ Note: Startingale labels summarize how current data corresponds to the model's statistical design—not whether prices will rise or fall.
🔹 Supplementary Market Data
Tradingale integrates additional contextual data metrics, sourced from third-party market data providers, to enrich the analytical framework:
-
Sentiment – Aggregated sentiment score ranging from 0% to 100%, where 100% indicates exclusively positive discourse and 0% indicates exclusively negative discourse. This metric is derived from posts and discussions across X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, and news articles, weighted by engagement levels (likes, shares, comments). It reflects the overall tone of public conversations surrounding a specific cryptocurrency without predicting price direction.
-
Social Dominance – Measures the relative share of social media conversations dedicated to a particular cryptocurrency compared to the broader crypto market. A higher percentage indicates greater discussion volume, which may reflect increased attention or interest. This is a descriptive metric, not a trading signal.
-
Market Dominance – Represents the cryptocurrency's market capitalization as a percentage of the total crypto market cap. This metric provides context on the asset's relative size and market position within the broader ecosystem.
These supplementary metrics are informational data points only. They are provided to help users understand the broader market context surrounding each instrument, but they do not constitute investment advice, directional forecasts, or trading recommendations.
📊 Note: Supplementary data metrics are sourced from external providers and reflect publicly available information. Tradingale does not guarantee their accuracy or completeness and uses them solely for contextual analysis within the Martingale framework.
